While this "raincoat" is cute and my 2.5yr old loves it, its not very well put together. We pulled it out of the package and as soon as she undid the snaps to put it on, the bottom button came off, and the other two are very loosely attached as well and look like they will come out quickly too. Also, the material doesn't seem very waterproof or water resistant at all... She got a little scuff on the front and when i tried to wipe is off with a damp cloth, the material very quickly absorbed the moisture from the cloth and it soaked through both very thin layers of material. Not sure how waterproof it would be if it was actually worn in the rain... we live in seattle and it tends to rain often!!!
