I purchased this frother and after 41 days, it started to turn itself on and run. The first time, I was home and heard a noise in the background but didn't think anything of it. After about 15 minutes, I figured out the noise was the frother; it had started and was overheating. I unpluged it. Then it worked for a couple of days and but did the same thing; starting on it's own. If I'd not been home, this could have started a fire. You can only return the item within 30 days so if it happens outside the 30 days you are out of luck. You can return it if you ship it back, at your own expense and pay a a 20% restocking fee. Buyer beware.
