I needed this monitor to keep a close watch on my blood pressure. The packaging was very nice as was the case it was stored in. As I took it out of the case I noticed minute scratches on the face which indicated to me it might be used. In addition the battery indicated showed it was low. The pull tab that typically protects the batteries was not there and the batteries themselves were corroded. The replacement batteries only last a couple of days. The next set of batteries was useless as the monitor showed no sign of operating. It is a very nice looking monitor and had a great price and fast shipping.
