Buyer beware on this item. Worked fine for 2 months and then one morning while using the noise level got extremely loud and coffee beans would not grind. Turned out the plastic support for the shaft came apart. Contacted Hamilton beach 2 times now over the last 30 days and they have not responded back at all other than an automated email that they got my submission. Based on experience will steer clear of all their products from now on. Update October 2020 After 6 months and 5 requests from me they finally sent me a replacement coffee grinder. Glad they finally responded but I had to go out and buy replacement long ago.
