This arrived quicker than I expected, and my husband says it was easy to put together. The only assembly was attaching the back to the base. It glides very smooth and reclines easily! It's very comfortable too! My husband says it's a little short for him but he is 6'4". It fits perfect for me(5'7")! It is a little lighter than in the picture, that's the only reason it didn't get all 5 stars. I scotch guarded it and I'm hoping that will help keep it looking new. The fabric is very soft and comfortable and it held up well to the scotch guard! I was very nervous about buying a chair without even trying it out but overall I'm very satisfied! **update: after using this chair for barely two months I am sad to say the quality of this chair is definitely subpar. The material is literally coming apart at the seams. We even repaired one place only to have it come apart again. We are so sad that it's coming apart because we LOVE this chair. It is so comfortable! Just wish the quality was better. '
