When I purchased this product, I was unaware that its use depends upon a yearly recurring charge for a software license to use a PDF Print function. I have just been billed $30.98 and this fee is due yearly in order to use the scanmarker pen. You should know this before you purchase. Additionally, the scanmarker requires an extremely steady hand. By the time I realized this, the pen was worthless to me because I cannot hold it as steady as the pen requires. I just get a lot of gibberish. But it is too late for me to return.
