No steam ever came out. A friend had recommended I buy a portable steamer for use during one of our vacations. I didn’t bother to ask what her brand was, but I bought this brand recommended from an article in Buzzfeed. I, unfortunately forgot that it was in my closet, because I don’t usually bring clothes that needs ironing on vacations. Well, I just happen to use n try it today, 2yrs later, for an upcoming wedding trip since our formal clothes needs some steaming at some point. Well, this didn’t bring out any steam at all. The plate heated up but no steam. I used distilled water, I waited for 20 min to see it it’ll eventually steam up, I dialed it to the max setting, the light goes on n off, but still no steam. Alas, I couldn’t return since it’s been two years in my closet. Highly advised everyone to immediately try anything they order so they can return it asap if it’s not up to standards. I wish I could give it no stars!! But that’s not an option here. One star for cute design and plate heated up, that’s about it!
