NOT as Advertised
NOT 3 INCHES!!!!!!!!!! I ordered this pillow because I needed to have some extra height when sitting. I am going in for a hip replacement and the surgeon suggested that I get raised up a few more inches when sitting because I am 6'5" and he did not want my thigh to violate the 90 degree rule.
I looked at the reviews and most liked it but only one other reviewer noted that the pillow IS NOT 3 inches in height. It is 2 1/2 inches. That may not seem like much but it is 17% smaller then advertised. I really hate misleading descriptions that ultimately make the difference in purchasing a product. What if a seller “A” was selling say a pound (16 ozs) of cashews for $3.00 and seller “B” is selling a pound for $3.50. You compare other sellers and decide on seller “A” he has the best deal. When it arrives you notice that it looks like there is less then the pound as described so you weigh it and find its actually 13.28 ozs (83%).
Suddenly seller “B”’s deal was actually a better buy. (Assuming he sent out a full pound.)
This pillow is delivered folded in half in a narrow box. I let it "breath" for a week as suggested by the seller, hoping that it would expand to the full 3 inches. No such luck.
If you need a 3-4 inch pillow to raise your sitting position DO NOT get this pillow. Most important, it is not very comfortable.
Also, the “memory foam” is a JOKE. It is roughly 1/16-1/8 of an inch in thickness. That will do absolutely nothing for the comfort. The description is extremely misleading boarding on misrepresentation. This is not what is refereed to in sales as “ puffing” ( nice term for really stretching the truth like those ads for burgers, big plump, 3 inches of stuff between the buns when you get it the buns are touching and its nothing like the Ad) when a seller describes the product with dimensions and is competing with other sellers who likewise sell based in part on dimensions then that 17% makes a difference.
I do not usually review stuff I buy but this just ticked me off. Nobody likes to get ripped off or taken advantage of.!!!
