After reading numerous reviews on various heated blankets, I decided to spend a little more and try the Beautyrest. The blanket itself was soft, but was very thin. The heating elements could easily be felt, but the biggest problem was the blanket just didn’t heat up very much. The heating elements were also spread out so far apart that I couldn’t feel any warmth near the edges of the blanket, and since it’s so thin, I still felt cold under it. Even on high, it didn’t get very warm. The control and cord were also very heavy and cumbersome. Sending it back. Better off with a regular, thicker blanket.
