Received the pan on November 1st and have been using it almost daily since then. Today after cooking with it with the lid on for about five minutes, I heard a loud popping sound. The glass in the lid broke and the handle on the lid buckled in into the pan. My daughter was close to the stove but fortunately glass did not come close to her. Thank God! Don't buy this pan, if you buy it don't use the lid. I was using only low to medium heat with this pan. Update: Dec 2nd 2015 I contacted Cuisinart customer service regarding this. I have sending mails back and forth. Nothing positive so far. They want me to ship the damaged product or will evaluate the photos that I sent if they are to send a replacement. How can I ship a glass lid that has broken into hundreds of pieces. Ridiculous. I have solid evidence to what happened to the pan just 20 days after I bought the pan. Very bad customer service.
