One of the security programs I downloaded warned me that about a dozen free apps I downloaded from the app store had adware built in, ads for other domains. I don't mind ads for a programmer's own products, but if you send me ads for lots of other stuff, no thanks. I deleted the program without trying it because of the ADWARE warning. Perhaps the program I used identified it wrongly, but I'm not willing to take the risk. That's what security programs are for. Adware and Malware are too close to each other for my comfort.
