I have just received and installed this printer, and I READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. If you agree to HP's automatic ink reordering, you are giving HP the right to transmit massive amounts of information about you to their network. If you agree to register your HP printer, you are giving HP the right to store your data on their cloud. When you install the BASIC printer drivers, you are REQUIRED to install plugins so that HP can access your Dropbox and Google Drive accounts. When you turn the printer on, it sets up its very own WiFi hub with the password of 12345678. Just how hard can it be to hack a printer and backdoor into my network if the vendor has already provided you with the WiFi password? I don't feel violated yet... but I've cranked all my security settings up to see how else HP wants to abuse the privilege of selling me a printer.
