Serious flaw.
After months of using this alarm I have discovered a serious flaw and this is it. If the battery in the remote control dies you have no way of disarming the alarm short of cutting it off whatever you have it mounted to, taking it apart and removing the batteries. This of course means if you have your alarm on your bike go to turn it off and the remote is dead you’re going to have to listen to that alarm sound until you can get off the bike and get the batteries out. Additionally the battery inside of the remote is a very untraditional one and there is nothing on the instructions indicating what type of battery this is. The instructions simply state if the light on your remote starts the dim replace the battery. Deal breaker.
