Great oven until it breaks (times 2)!
Breville makes innovative products, but they are expensive and they just don’t last. My brother and I both bought one of these for our homes and expected to get 5-10 years out of them. In just over 2 years they both suffered from the same issues: Random keypad glitches (it takes up to 10 presses of the toast button to get the unit to start) and obnoxious convection fan chatter. Breville customer service is worthless and refused to help either one of us past the one year warranty mark. Skip this one. We have donated our ovens and are going to try the Wolf oven. It’s expensive, but the warranty is for 5 years and these small ovens are our primary appliance. We figure they will ultimately pay for themselves in power savings and air conditioning relief.
