Warranty replacement is NOT customer friendly.
I had this for a year and three months. It just died. I rebooted several times, checked all connections and power. Nothing. I got the phone support from TP-Link after several tries. Once connected, the individual was helpful, but the router was fried. This is where it gets sad. He forwarded my RMA (return) information to the folks who do that in the company. They have two days to get back to me. My home business relies on a wifi router that is working. The RMA group got back to me with a process to get a new one (now 5 days without). It is not a simple, ship us the dead one, here comes the replacement. It was going to take more time and my credit card number. I went to the local big box electronics store (not many left) and bought a Netgear router. Now I am back to full speed at my business. I will not use TP-Link products again and just want everyone to know how they handle warranty replacement. Update: 9/19/17 - The warranty manager from TP-Link asked me in a response to this review to give them another shot at fixing my problem. I used the method he suggested and have heard NOTHING from anyone at the company. I gave them a second chance and no one followed up on my warranty. I would not use this equipment again.
