This seat has a defect that Britax has not addressed after several efforts over many months. The straps get caught on something inside the seat that can't be accessed, causing the straps to be loose on one side while tight on the other. It sometimes requires 10 and 15 minutes of fighting with it to get the straps even in order to make it safe for my child, and I have to always check both sides, not just one, to make sure the straps are as tight as they should be. Multiple police officers trained in child restraint installation and safety have had trouble fixing this when it's gotten uneven and have been concerned about the safety of my seat. Despite its high ratings from consumer guides, etc, I wouldn't buy this costly seat again, and I'll likely be buying a new seat now because Britax won't replace it despite my efforts.
