Linenspa encasement is not well done and I don’t believe it is bedbug proof. It is a cheap plastic type of material (not fabric) and has very large stitches where bedbugs can easily go through. I also believe the material would rip with normal body pressure since it is not stretchy. It doesn’t have a zipper cover, just a flap that doesn't offer protection. I was hoping that it would have the same quality of the Hospitology (Sleep Defense System) that I got 2 years ago and still use in my bed. It is not even close! See comparison pictures Update 04/26/2017: Just got the Beckham Luxury Linens Encasement and it is better than Hospitology for half of the price, just $16.99! It is very well made, with thick smooth fabric with rubbery back, large flop with velcro to protect the zipper, perfect small stitches. Very happy! see my new pic.
