ETA: company wanted me to contact them, I thought because they cared and wanted to see how to make the product safe. NOPE! They tried to bribe me into changing my review. Uh. No. I’m gonna warn other moms (also that’s against Amazon’s TOS). UPDATE 08/30/20 - baby climbed up and over the wall today. He luckily caught himself and hung upside down on the other side. PLEASE buy a safer one. He could have broken his neck. I’ve included pictures of other danger zones around the sides where baby can use as potential Steps. We really loved this play area until about a week ago. The way the bars are set, there’s just enough room for babies feet, and my baby started using pressure and working his feet on the corners opposite the gate and toy section and has almost gone over the top now several times. The corner with the toys he’s using the little house flip thing as a step to help him climb up and over. He’s 11 months. This particular one is good for babies who have just started to crawl, or are just pulling up, but beware when they get older it’s very dangerous. We’re looking at getting another one with more or less space between the slats, or no slats on the corner for this reason.
