It’s a great concept product, however, there are so many quality defects to make this a robust product to deliver as promised. I don’t even know where to begin. The wind on palm trees sets it off, but even on high sensitivity it struggles to capture someone approaching the door, yet it seems to get a partial video of ever passing car on the road. Add to that, many times nothing is captures, and the video content is very short which dissolves the concept of monitoring the outside parameter. The camera cannot be activated through the app, unless you physically go to the door and push the “doorbell” button which makes a common sound of a doorbell, then it runs for a bit, yet makes the ding-dong sound as if someone outside rang a doorbell. This is a nice conceptual device but in reality it is completely a piece of garbage which I regret buying. I’ve called the company twice with suggestions which really went nowhere. Don’t buy this thing. It all needs to be brought back to the drawing board and if the mechanics exist inside this tacky gizmo, they need to release a dramatic firmware upgrade to fix the significant problems.
