Although we did not but this from Amazon (which was our first mistake after trying to deal with Maxi Climber!) I'm reviewing here since many buyers will look at Amazon to purchase this item. My wife has used it for about 3 weeks and the plastic stop for the left foot pedal shattered like glass! This leaves the pedal tilted at an unusable angle. She contacted Maxi Climber customer service and explained that she lost her receipt for the purchase, but was willing to buy a replacement part. They do not sell replacement parts and would not work with her without a receipt. The plastic parts that broke is made of a very hard plastic and simply can not take the pounding it is subjected to. The right pedal stop is now distressed and will also break soon! They customer service agent will try to sell you a 3 year maintenance plan for $29, but without your receipt, what good will that do you? This part is so poorly engineered there is no way that Maxi Climber doesn't know this is a major defect! Look elsewhere for your step climber equipment!
