A very strong plastic smell, that makes us worry for our kid to breath. No idea what that is and how to get rid of it (we tried with a detergent with no success) but smells very chemical, artificial, obviously part of the manufacturing process. Are they VOCs (Volatile Organic Chemicals) that can be very bad for health, especially for a kid? No idea. We contacted the support and waiting for answers but we would like other parents to be aware first. On top of this, after few days of having them I notice that after walking on them our feet become very slippery, even on other surfaces, that means that there is some sort of a coating on the surface that is going out. (is this the origin of the smell) and that means one thing: The kids playing / eating on it are ingesting and exposed to that Chemical component and I dont like it at all. The first damage you can notice is when the kids are running out of the mat surface and go on a tiled floor (9which is the case for us) they slip and fall, which happen to 2 kids already including mine, causing them to hit their head on the hard floor. It just happen now and I'm very very upset. Gonna trough away this piece of garbage before anymore damage happen to my kid and his friends.
