I bought this Mattress after going through the laundry list of direct to your door companies. My last mattress was from one of this big box furniture stores and was a Simmons Beautyrest Firm Pillow Top. After 6 months of ownership it sank in the middle and after 8 months it was impossible to sleep on without severe back pain. Simmons wouldn't honor their warranty since I wasn't using an "approved" bed frame design. I swore off getting a mattress from a big box store and decided to go internet direct. Two things I was looking for in a Mattress. - Looks for a soft but firm mattress with good support - One that would last at least 5 years After looking through many different mattress companies(Leesa, Saatva, Purple) I settled on the Casper. The reason I choose the Casper over everything else was because it had the least people complaining about longevity or how long it stood the test of time. People usually didn't like it because it was too hard, or a bit too soft. My initial impressions when I received it was it was a little a bit firm and slept poorly the first night. Second night I slept much better and by the end of the week I adored the mattress and was sleeping fantastic. You're probably wonder why the 2 stars then? Well, fast forward to my 2 month mark of ownership, now. I'm back in the same boat as last time. After just 2 months of ownership it's started to sink and developed a hole in the middle of the mattress. I'm now having to sleep in the hole or on the sides of the hole in order to not wake up with back pain. I'd love to return it but Casper won't pick your mattress up after purchasing through Amazon. You have to go through Amazon and ship it back which requires a box. Very unhappy. looks like be buying another mattress here in a couple months.
