I've been using TurboTax for over 20 years, but the 2018 TurboTax Premier for Desktop is the worst I've seen. I imported my previous year (2017) tax form and started updating the entries for 2018. Every 1099-Int entry that is updated causes a "Calculating" loop that lasts from 1 to 2 minutes before the program responds back. In some cases I see the message 'Not Responding' and then eventually it completes the update for one entry and gets the same issue again updating any 1099-Int entry. I tried installing the program on 4 different Windows 10 PC's with latest V 1809 Build 17763.195 and got the same results. The we tried to install on two MAC machines with OS 10.42.2 and 10.12.6 and got the same issues plus some other problems. I don't have any of these issues with 2017 TurboTax, only with 2018. The latest TurboTax updates are installed and did not solve the problem. TurboTax support was notified and saw the problem, but no solution yet from Intuit. What a mess !
