This design is for food I suppose, because it is not good for beverages beyond 12oz cans. As you can see in the pic .. for any type of water bottle or 16 oz soda bottle the design is very limited. Also the bars that hold beverages on the door are fixed (no adjust) so they actually reduce the storage area in the fridge. I hacksawed off the 2nd "L" on both sides so they could hold a beverage snugly. Lastly .. even at the lowest cool setting I'd say the contents are cool but not cold.
