I actually LOVE this item. I gave it 1 star so it would show up with the reviews that say it only works once. After you use the thermometer you have to remove the body and soap oils from the sensor. This is easy. Squirt hand soap on the sensor, rub it around till its squeaky clean. (it should squeak when you rub it) I've been using this for about 3 months and it works Every time (after I wash it) BTW - The perfect bath temperature for an adult is 106 :)
