Purchased this oven in Sep of 2017 . On the morning of March 16, 2018 while trying to toast a bagel the oven started smoking heavily then the top burners caught fire! Fortunately, I was able to put out the fire but it was a terrifying experience! In the past, I've owned several toaster ovens from other brands none of which ever caught fire. I purchased this one because Breville is suppose be a top brand and have very reliable products. I'm sorry I didn't pay attention to the other one star reviews that mentioned this product to be a fire hazard. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AMAZON PULL THIS PRODUCT UNTIL THESE ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED!!! PLEASE, BUYER BEWARE...DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
