Before purchasing, I called the supplier and asked the following question: Will my Hp Officejet Pro 8000 printer accept these cartridges without all 4 lights being constantly on indicating that each cartridge is almost out of ink? The lady I talked with stated that there is a chip inside each cartridge that must be reset so this wouldn't happen. She also stated that they re-set these chips on all of their remanufactured cartridges. When I installed the 4 cartridges, all 4 lights came on and they have been on ever since. The black ink works OK but when I try to print in color, the image or character is not even close to what appears on the monitor. Since the customer support person wasn't truthful with me, I feel that Amazon should not be offering these cartridges on their website! I am not at all satisfied with these remanufactured cartridges and would not recommend them! I tried to go this route to save money as 4 of the original HP cartridges cost more than I paid for the printer. My printer, when using the original 4 cartridges, does an excellent job if you can afford to replace the cartridges as often as I have to. As I print a lot of black and white documents for our prison ministry, I'm also thinking that I might need to replace this HP printer with one that is less expensive to operate.
