Beware, #2 ingredient is TOXIC and NOT a "berry"
Why is the second ingredient manioc root when it says "100% natural vitamin c from wildcrafted berries" on the label? Manioc is not a berry, it's a root and the utilissima variety specified on the label is the bitter variety that's the most toxic if not prepared correctly as it contains cyanide and is goitrogenic (that it's a staple in parts of Africa is why goiter is so prevalent in those areas). It is high in vitamin c, but preparing it correctly with the fermentation and long cooking times necessary to release the hydrogen cyanide gas would destroy any vitamin c, so why is it used at all? Is it a filler? Certainly there are less toxic ones. If it's used raw as a source of c, then it's absolutely toxic. Since the company seems to want you to not notice it by saying it's "100%...from berries", it's suspicious and at the very least misleading and potentially dangerous.
