I think there are 2 products here. As a dispenser for your shower, I give it a single star. As a "wake me up at 5am with a thundering crash and stunning mess of shampoo and conditioner explosion after just 2 weeks" device, I give it at LEAST 5 stars. It did that job with remarkable aplomb. Unfortunately the first job, a dispenser for my shower, was the task I bought the item for. It performed adequately for about 2 weeks until.... the incident. If you are looking for a one time use alarm clock at an unpredictable and unknown hour, with the added bonus of a gigantic mess to clean up afterward, look no further! If you are after a dispenser to make your shampoo and conditioner storing and dispensing more convenient, you may want to keep looking.
