★☆☆☆☆
Almost unbearably tedious
If you have been hankering for a novel that is about 10 times too long for its flimsy plot, has a raft of awful self-indulgent characters who torment each other, and features spoiled women crying copiously on just about every other page, bingo. If I hadn't been on a series of long plane flights and no other new Kindle books downloaded, I never could have finished it. The only good moment was when one of the (few, sane, male) characters said to one of the (many, awful, female) characters, "How is it possible for you to be so emotionally ignorant?" Indeed. The only bad thing about Kindle is that you can't throw a book across the room.
