Full price, half of a game. Do not support this business practice.
As a fan of the NHL and a former fan of EA's NHL games (all the way back to the original one for the Genesis in 1992), it pains me to see what EA has become and what they expect gamers to accept now that they are the only ones with an NHL licence to make video games. Simply put, if you purchase this game on the day of release, you are purchasing less than half of a game. None of the standard features which you are familiar with are in the game yet (you can't even play a full season...hell, the '3 stars of the game' feature isn't even in there yet!), and there are only promises that free updates with some of the old features will be available later in the coming months. Even if NHL 15 ends up containing all of the former features from the '14 edition (which it won't), I refuse to support the practice of a game company releasing a horribly unfinished game and expecting the customers to pay full price. Purchasing this game will only give EA the encouragement to continue to release unfinished games in the future. Electronic Arts has made many mistakes as of late, and to my mind this is one of the worst.
