not a real kettlebell
I'll say this for these bells- they did get me started. Not a good design, though- the concrete core grinds down with use, and then you have shifting weight inside the bell along with a lot of distracting noise, and then the sand starts seeping out of the seams. There is a warning on the package not to drop the bells. I never dropped this bell, and still it started wearing out within a few weeks of daily use. Also, they are really big for their weight, so they encourage bad technique. Save yourself some trouble and get a kettlebell with an iron core.
