UPDATE: Although there are many things I have liked about this vest, consistent lack of dependability of the zippers isn't tolerable. The zipper broke after a few months on my first purchase. Well, it happens. I ordered a replacement. On the first wear, the zipper on the brand new one started separating from the base. Customer service was not good. When I contacted them, they did respond--letting me know it was Amazon's problem so to arrange it with them. Okay. I will. I'll also seek another vendor. I LOVE this vest! We don't have sidewalks in our neighborhood, so when I walk my dog on a road with traffic--day or night--I want to be SEEN! I also like having my phone and a few other accessories, so pockets are a major plus. Here are the many reasons this vest is AWESOME. 1) It is so well made--with quality materials and every seam even and strong. 2) The design actually fits a woman's body. I'm not trying to bring glamour to the 'hood, but I don't want some big, square, clunky man's vest flopping around on me either. The zipper is strong and looks nice, and the fit is perfect--comfortable and fitted without being tight. 3) The color is vibrant neon yellow, plus the reflective strips--so if a car hits me, it's because they meant to, not because they didn't see me. 4) As mentioned, the four pockets are perfect. They're just the right size--large enough to hold my stuff, but not so big they get in the way. They have Velcro closures, so it's easy to batten down the hatches. 5) Even walking or running (wogging?) for an hour or more, this doesn't chafe under the arms like some tanks & singlets I've had. Super comfy. 6) The price. Have you priced running vests lately? They're crazy expensive. This is a screamin' deal. This vest isn't advertised as a running/biking vest, so it just goes way beyond the call of duty for its main purpose. But if I could make it even a teensy bit better, I'd ask for a back pocket--making it perfect for biking also. I'll still wear it for biking, though.
