Wow. I was at first, very excited about this form of curcumin, but my excitement plummeted when I saw that an ingredient is Polysorbate 80. I rea felt it wrong to be ingesting this additive on a daily basis. Along with polysorbate 60, it (polysorbate 80) is known to be commonly contaminated with 1,4 dioxane which is known to cause cancer in animals. Really? Yikes! I contacted Solar to see if the Polysorbate 80 they used was free from this contaminate and this is their response: Thank you for contacting Solgar regarding our Full Spectrum Curcumin (Prod No. 59597, B54707). This product contains about 5 ppm of 1,4 dioxane in polysorbate 80. I won't be buying this again!
