Not genuine Apple issued earbuds. Here is a list of things I found wrong with the product: 1.) shorter cord than genuine Apple earbuds that come with the iPhone 6 plus 2.) volume control was compromised; volume up button did not click. I later found out, while also becoming momentarily deafened, that the button works and randomly tries to turn the volume up to maximum when you turn or tilt your head. 3.) microphone doesn't work and you can't use it for phone conversations 4.) silicone flash out of the Two legs that come out from the Y 5.) strain relief breaks after normal use and will eventually sever the wires rendering the headphones unusable.
