Ok Product, Very Poor Scoop
I've tried a couple other Green products and I can say this one by far tastes the worst, but what do you expect? It's basically your lawn dried and ground up, but that's not my beef with the product. I can tolerate the taste which is garlic, grass, and tomatoes, though I wish I could mix it in my shakes like the other Greens I've used. It's the scoops and people questioning if there's 30 servings in the container that makes it a one star product.
I've been taking this product for a week now and from the first time I opened it, I knew there wasn't 30 servings when looking at the scoop provided. This morning I decided to put this scoop to the test since I have a precision digital scale (and a 50g weight to ensure it's reading accurately). First I put the scoop on the scale which was reading between 4-4.5g. I weighed it at 4.5g and tore the scale so my measurements were the actual mix and not the mix with the scoop weight. I also shook and rolled the container of powder to "fluff" it up since I know it settles and can become more dense. My picture attached shows a scoop that's not even a full, level scoop, and it weighs in at 10.5g! Come on GOL! I then weighed out three separate scoops that were full and leveled properly. They weighed between 12-13g! So if you're using this scoop and are getting 12g level scoops, you're only getting 20 servings since their servings are based off of 8g and the container holds 240g. That's a scam in my book.
Not only is it not fair on us customers to not be getting our 30 servings with the scoop provided, it's not giving us the nutrition stated since the servings are off, and it probably contributes to the really strong, bad flavor, which was backed up by me making it with 12oz of water rather than 8oz like suggested. As someone who works in manufacturing and engineering, I understand it's hard to get things absolutely perfect, and there's plenty of variables, but I did all I could to benefit GOL when measuring their scoop, and it still failed by a lot. A gram off? Ok. 4-5g off? Not Ok.
