This is my first review, EVER! I read a ton of books, I'll even admit to reading a lot of crap books. None of them have ever moved me to write a review. I read the sample first, which was not great, but it was okay and got me interested. The story went downhill pretty quickly after that. First of all, the sex scenes were unrealistic and unmoving. It seemed to me that the author was trying WAY too hard for the angsty love scenes that have become so popular with YA romance novels. Totally cold fish, nothing remotely sexy about this book. Another major problem was the main character, Lily. I love him, I hate him, I love him, I hate him. Seriously, do or don't but quit the unnecessary wavering. And my biggest problem was just the story itself. It was entirely too predictable, but what makes it worse is the fact that it was too rushed. The bones of the story have some potential, but the author missed the mark by rushing it and lacking true character and story development. Honestly, the best part about this book is the sexy cover. That guy is H-O-T HOT, but the book itself is a complete waist.
