Roaringly loud, even on the lowest setting. For a “desktop” unit, I promise you will not want this anywhere near your desk unless you enjoy LOUD fan white noise. I have a taller Guardian unit that is like 3 of these units stacked on top of each other in height for larger spaces and it is MUCH, MUCH quieter. I think mine is defective....
