I love the fryer except that there is a very serious and dangerous design flaw. After only a few uses, the part that holds the food started separating and falling off when I remove it from the fryer. It is hard to explain, but basically what happens is that you grasp the handle and slide the container of hot food out of the fryer. The hot bottom part that holds the basket of food falls off into the floor and you are left holding a hot basket of food in one hand while the heavy bottom part of the fryer is melting the linoleum tile on your floor. I still use the fryer, but I have to be very careful with it. There was a few months after I bought it that I was moving and resettling and extremely busy so I missed the deadline for returning the product. I do not recommend this product because of this design flaw and the short return and product support period. I will be writing letters to the manufacturer about this. It is a serious dangerous, design flaw.
