as an adult D&D player, I don't understand why minis need to be sold in the random booster pack format. most people are using minis are using them during d&d games, and so have specific needs. but to be honest, even people using them for miniatures scenarios would like to have specific ones, i'm sure (eg fantasy flight's x-wing game...thanks!) why can't they just make all the minis from the MM and/or specific adventures, some alone, some in logical packs...so we can buy the exact ones we want. i'm too old to waste my time and money playing the "i wonder what i get this time?" game. if i want a bugbear, let me buy a bugbear. if i want an army of kobolds, let me but an army of kobolds. if i don't want a pegasus or a female barbarian, give me the option of not buying these minis that i might not ever need...
