The difference between this and the box it ships in is that the box it ships in is a nicer shade of earth tone with a very modern industrial design. What comes in the box is a not quite white, already dingy piece of cardboard that is pre-dented.
If you are homeless, and someone gives you one of these it is probably better than a refrigerator box, but only because these days most fridges come in a box that gets cut in to little pieces as they take it out.
