Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

If you're read kettle reviews, you know how difficult it is to find a good one. This one seemed to have great reviews, and when I received it, it looked shiny, well-designed, and the boiled water poured out without sputtering... However, with less than two weeks of use, the rim of the lid started to get rusty! Thinking it might be a fluke, I used Bar Keepers Friend and removed all the rust on the lid and the rim of the kettle. I dry out the kettle at the end of each day for storage. Within several days, again, the rust was back! I can't see how this kettle could possibly be surgical stainless steel - I have returned it and am trying out the top-rated Circulon kettle - why is it so difficult to find quality products at any price?
