This is my third purchase of Frontier Co-op Organic Ceylon Cinnamon and the first 2 purchase had the correct color and taste of Ceylon, but not the 3rd. I kept a bottle of Cassia for comparison and reorder before the last purchase runs out. This batch is not Ceylon. When I scooped the new batch into the bottle I use for sprinkling on my coffee the color difference stands out and the taste is not sweet like Ceylon. There is a clear line of demarcation. I did a search online and came across an article. The website is "The Prairie Homestead" and the name of the article is " Will the REAL Cinnamon Please Stand Up?" Read the article to the end. Appears that the FDA permits Cassia to be labeled as Ceylon in the United States. The price of this Frontier Co-op cinnamon has been going down instead of up, I should have realized that it was too good to be true. I will keep this order, but will not reorder. I only use a 1/4 teaspoon so I am fine, might even use a little less. What a disappointment.
