I really do not like that this product contains SODIUM BENZOATE which is labeled as a preservative but Thanks to another poster I learned that it has been linked to cancer, restricting oxygen to cells and other awful things. I wrote to the company who in their reply claims that the amount used (Parts Per Million or whatever) are minute and therefore their product is perfectly safe even for regular use. I realize their claim could be true. I mean, what sort of company would purposely put a harmful amount of synthetic toxic chemical in a wellness product for a pet and expect to stay in business???? However, I myself, refuse to take the chance with my cat's wellness and health and do not feel that it is worth the risk when there are MANY other alternative products available that do not contain potentially harmful ingredients
