We purchased this in October and have made several loaves of wonderful bread. So now I bet you are thinking why did I give this one star? Unfortunately, after making several loaves of bread, we had problem with the paddles coming free during the kneed cycle and scrapping the pan and causing both metal shards and the non-stick coating into the bread making it inedible. After the first incident where the dough blades came free, we contacted the manufacture and they promptly shipped us a new bread pan and paddles. We once again made several loaves of bread and before the same thing happened where the paddles came off during the kneed cycle and scrapped the pan. We then made our second contact with the manufacturer and they again sent us another pan and paddles, as well as gave us the advice that our dough may have been too wet, as well as soaking the bread pan could cause discoloration of the dough. We were careful to not soak our bread pan as well as reduce the amount of water in our recipes and unfortunately again, the paddles lifted during the kneed cycle and scrapped metal and non-stick coating into the dough of our bread, making it inedible. After going through 3 bread pans in 4 months I can only rate this as 1 star for this product. The manufacturer was excellent to work with just was unfortunate that the product was sub par. We contacted Amazon with our trouble, and even out of the warranty period, promptly refunded our money. We will be looking for a different bread machine and can not recommend this one.
