As quite a few others have mentioned on here, the materials used for the strap are sub-par, like some flimsy vinyl polimer. Mine broke with under a hundred hours of use, just adjusting the pivot to get it on, like you're supposed to. It really wasn't much force either, and it ripped like soggy paper. Aside from that, the strap was ok at best, not much of a game changer from the cloth strap. I have a pretty big head and this needs to be fully extended to put on. If I tightened it down a little too much I noticed pain in my neck, you really need to find the sweet spot. The ratcheting mechanism that tightens it down feels extremely cheap and like it's going to break at any moment. This is definitely not worth $50, $20 tops. I'm sure glad Amazon is pretty decent with refunds. There is a third party strap on here for $40, not sure of the quality, but it'll burn a little less if it breaks.
