I love Brolin as an actor but he can't carry the whole project alone. The scenes with the oil derricks (which are from the 1800's) spewing black smoke.... never in history has an oil derrick belched black smoke like an old Rail Road Steam Engine. My neighbors in Wyoming are surely rolling their eyes to yet another Hollywood depiction of their State. And believe me there is not one single rancher who would allow a hippy chick from Boulder to just go ahead and camp out. Not a single one. She'd be driven away by a Sheriff immediately. There's just too much wrong here. It's so predictable there will be some sort of fight coming to keep Big Oil from taking over their land and ruining it with their cg smoke belching oil derricks from the 1800's.
