Regardless of features, I would never recommend purchasing an Epson all in one printer because of one simple reason: If you run out of ink in any cartridge, the printer is engineered to completly shut you out of all functions. Let's say you have an important business document that you need to print, scan and email. Let's say that it is in black and white. Let's say you run out of yellow ink. Epson has determined that until you buy their expensive and tiny capacity ink cartridges again, you cannot print with black ink, you cannot scan, you cannot do anything. The entire printer / scanner / copier is useless. Also, Epson goes through great lengths to deny you choice in ink cartridges. They revamp the design of them every couple of years, changing absolutely nothing to benefit the customer, but just to make sure that generic print cartridges cannot be recognized by the printer. I am very suspicious of any company that puts greed ahead of the needs of the customer. I hope this review is helpful. There are a lot of other printer companies to choose from.
