★★☆☆☆
When they're good, they're very good. But they're not always good.
updated 03/30/20 -- I finally cancelled my subscription today as both the flavor and texture have gone downhill so badly. Hard to describe the taste, but it's not good, and the texture has become 'mushy', sort of like eating a cheap liverwurst. The dog still loves them, though. These are good enough that I have had a subscription for several years, but quality control is becoming inconsistent. I receive 4 packages each month and this is the 3rd time in the last half year that I've gotten a bad batch. One came visibly moldy and Amazon replaced it no questions asked. One other delivery was marginal, and the most recent bad package arrived today. Here's a side-by-side comparison of how they should arrive, and a bad batch. The tightly bunched, vacuumed sealed package with fresh pink is normal. The grayish-green package on the right has started gassing, so the package itself is puffy. No obvious signs of mold yet, but it's going bad. If you only ordered a single package and got something like the package on the right, you might not realize that it was going bad.
