★★☆☆☆
If someone recommended this book to you, chances are they're trying to recruit you into their pyramid.
This is basically the bible for anyone trying to recruit you into their pyramid. The first half of the book is okay as it tries to opens your eyes to something beyond the 40-60 hour work weeks... entrepreneurship. In the second half of the book, the proposed type of entrepreneurship is joining an MLM aka a pyramid which ends up being A LOT less glamorous than the picture the first half of the book paints. Do you really believe you'll make hundreds of thousands of dollars selling lotion or laundry detergent? Someone randomly chatting me up at a Starbucks recommended this book to me so I bought it and read it. After a second meeting, he invited me to a 2.5 hour 'business presentation' which I attended. While I believe the business model is legitimate, it's certainly not for everyone. If you don't like pestering people or selling things, you will not be successful. Most of these companies want you to spend $X amount of money per month on their products and then recruit up to 10 other people to spend $X amount of money per month as well. Legitimate? Yes Easy? No Glamorous? Nah..
